  • Tipi Orchid Research Centre: Home to more than 500 orchid species, with a glasshouse of vibrant blooms in West Kameng.
  • Bomdila Monastery: Founded in 1965 by the 12th Tsona Gontse Rinpoche and later consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama, this Tibetan-style gompa sits in tranquil mountain surroundings.
  • Dirang Monastery: A peaceful spiritual and cultural stop on the road to Tawang, where monks gather for meditation, chanting and teaching.
  • Sela Pass: A high mountain pass at 13,700 ft with sweeping, often snow-covered views. It is sacred in Tibetan Buddhism, with many lakes in and around it.
  • Sela Lake: A glacial lake beside the pass that stays partly frozen through winter.

The best time is March to June and September to November, when the weather is clear and the roads are accessible. Winters (Dec–Feb) are beautiful but very cold.

Yes. Places like Sela Pass and Bumla Pass are at high altitude (13,000+ ft). Travellers with asthma, heart conditions, or breathing issues should consult a doctor before the trip.

How are the road conditions?

The roads are scenic but long and winding. Some stretches may be rough. Motion sickness tablets and patience are recommended.

What kind of accommodation is provided?

Clean and Hygienic hotels or homestays with basic amenities. Some remote areas may not offer luxury, but cleanliness and comfort are ensured.

Will I get network and internet access during the tour?

The network is limited. BSNL and Airtel work best but may not work in high-altitude or remote areas like Bumla and Sangti. Expect minimal to no data services in such places.

Is the Bumla Pass visit guaranteed?

The visit to Bumla Pass is not guaranteed. It is subject to weather conditions and army clearance. While we will assist in applying for the required permits, the final approval rests solely with the Indian Army.

What food will be provided? Is vegetarian food available?

Yes. Meals are simple, hot, and mostly Indian-style (veg & non-veg). Veg food is available throughout. Jain or specific diets must be informed in advance.
